1. There are several good restaurants just down the street and you will also find Starbucks (next to the cable car stop, but you can't take your coffee on the cable car.

4. Yes it's touristy but we were tourists and loved the gift shops, restaurants and location so close to the wharf.

6. However, we did eat dinner in Knuckles (The Hyatt's restaurant opposite) and Pompei's Grotto on the Wharf (where we had the cheapest bottle of house wine in all the restaurants we visited) when we were tired and didn't want to walk far after sightseeing.

7. We talk a shuttle from the airport what drops us at the door, we can walk to just about everything from the hotel, great restaurants, attractions, super continental breakfast in the morning and the price is a good value for the city.

8. The breakfast spread was great but there are so many wonderful restaurants near the hotel within walking distance as well as a Safeway and a Trader Joe's grocery store.
