1. Within walking distance of downtown proper and cabs are easy to come by.

2. The Hotel location is at the top of the hill so i suggest all the ladies can forget about high heels, wear something comfortable when going downtown for shopping, its not far but the up hills are killers.

8. just a few minutes from the cable car stop which can take you to Fisherman's wharf and Chinatown or you can go in the opposite direction and head downtown.
