1. Upon leaving and entering the hotel throughout each day, the staff, from the front desk to the valet to housekeeping, welcomed me and inquired if there was anything I needed.

5. We had our own car which we left with the valet at the hotel but as understand that there are very good transport links from the hotel to get down to the wharf and other neighbourhoods.

A special vote of thanks goes to the Bell and Valet Staff, and the wonderful woman who bought our Room Service with a smile and florish, and i'm sure added to the flavour of some much appreciated very late night meals we orded when we discovered there was nothing open when we returned on the last boat from Alcatraz Island.
