1. Hotel is walking distance to Alcatraz boat, Fisherman's wharf, China town, and North Beach with good shoes.

The location of the hotel (in the Financial District) was excellent as we could walk to many of the popular neighborhoods: we could get to the Embarcadero (and the all the yummy foods and the Ferry Building and awesome chocolates at Tcho on Pier 17), AT&T Park, North Beach (for Beach Blanket Babylon and TONS of coffee-a caffeine addict's paradise.

4. The location is excellent with cable car track right in front, and close to China Town, Union Square, North Beach, etc. I highly recommend this hotel.

5. Great restaurants in the area: Hang An for chinese food on Clay, NorthBeach pizza delivers to the hotel, there is now a Cheesecake Factory in Union square, and many great Italian Places in North Beach to eat.

9. We prefer this location as it is an easy walk to the Ferry Bldg, Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, SOMA, etc. All the staff are welcoming and friendly, rooms are ultra clean, good bar.
