4. The location is convenient for getting around SF--you're a few blocks' easy walk from the Muni bus/subway and Bart lines on Market Street, though the cable car line right out front (very helpful for getting up the steep hill on California Street) can involve long waits.

8. This is a beautiful historic hotel in a great location - quick walk to the waterfront and Union Square, etc. The rooms are very nice sized and well maintained.
