1. Plus you get a complimentary breakfast with made to order omelette with all the fixings (bacon, pancakes etc.) For a downtown hotel this is great.

2. The location of this hotel is very good: right downtown, within easy walking of stores such as Ferragamo, Bloomingdales and NM, specialty music stores, lots of coffee shops, as well as a fun mall with Macy's and a good food court.

7. The hotel is centrally located minutes from the lakefront, Navy Pier, downtown attractions, the Magnificent Mile shops, etc. I arrived on a Monday afternoon by an airport shuttle bus, which dropped me off at the main entrance, which is surprisingly located in the back of the hotel.

9. The main reason I chose to stay at the Embassy Suites Downtown Lakefront was because it was the most affordable option for larger families like mine because we wouldn't need to buy two rooms (at high downtown Chicago prices) to accommodate everybody.
