3. I suspect prices go higher on prime Chicago weekends in summer (airshow, Taste of Chicago, etc.) but they do everywhere, so book a stay here and try it out.

7. We have stayed at more expensive hotels in Chicago (and had one disastrous experience at a less expensive place), but for price, location, comfort, and courtesy, there is no better place in Chicago than the Hotel Monaco.
