7. We didnt have turndown service on any night of our stay (slight negative) but the manager did send a personal welcome note & complimentary champagne for my daughter's birthday--a nice touch.

8. We got a (great!) room even though we arrived before check-in, and after we mentioned that we were in town for our anniversary, Sheena, the truly awesome manager, sent us up a bottle of champagne.

10. I received a personal email from Marco, the manager, thanking me for my kind comments and mentioning the fact that my daughter will be attending college in Chicago in the fall and he hoped I'd let him know when we were coming again and he'd make sure we got a 'good' room.
