1. The wireless internet worked well but cost $10 daily unless you joined their free affinity program which is easy to do.

The highlights for us were;Perfect north loop location;Fantastic rooms (photos do not do the quirky colourful decor justice, spacious with high ceilings, spotless and fab view of the river); Reasonable cost (in comparison to other similar properties);Great extras (morning tea, wine hour etc.) and last but not least;5 star service (from all of the staff we met but in particular the wonderful Gwen on the desk (thanks Gwen!)).

6. This year we parked at the Theater Parking for the Goodman (the theater gives you a discount ticket) and then checked into the hotel; for 24 hours it cost $20 with the discount ($31 regularly) versus the $46 charged by the hotel.

10. The Hotel Monaco Chicago is located close to the river in the Chicago Loop, and they offer spacious rooms with a river view that cost just a bit more than their standard rooms.
