Have to say I've no idea why, ok, you are in central NY, its bound to be a bit noisy from the street but this has got to be the best value quality property so close to Times Square, its got a sort of 'Sandersons' feel about it, friendly staff, nothing too much trouble, didn't find it noisy from inside the hotel and the rooms are a fair size for such a central location, would certainly stay here if visiting NY again.
