The staff bend over backwards for you to make you feel welcome , we had complimentary drinks at the bar after we returned from our evening out that hadn't been that successful, and during our stay 2 bottles of bubbly (on seperate nights)in our room for our anniversary, The room was clean and the bed really comfy.

2. When we arrived later to check in the gave us a complimentary upgrade to the penthouse suite from the queen sized room we booked which was an awesome treat for us.

3. It pays to ask in advance as the hotel happily emailed us back confirming our requests, and on arrival a complimentary bottle of champagne was delivered to our room as it was my boyfriends birthday.

8. I arrived to DIRTY sheets, curtains that wouldn't close, no shower gel, no snacks at the mini bar, no complimentary bottled water, the bathroom tiles had grout all over them, chips in the furniture, patches of paint peeling from the walls, stains on the carpeting and scratches on the floor.

9. I spoke to the General Manager, Karla [--] and got some apologies and was offered a couple of hundred bucks off the rate I was originally quoted for those first 2 nights, free internet for more than the normal 1 device and some complimentary snacks, drinks and gym passes.

10. The flat screen was pretty big, NO free wi-fi, weather report for the week provided, complimentary hershey kisses chocolates everytime they clean your room and black bath robes provided.
