1. On top of this the streets all around here are full of great restaurants and bars which add to the appeal of this great hotel.

4. Patrick did suggest some good places to eat which we did wander down onto 9th street and enjoyed one of our best meals while in NYC, which without his suggestion we may have missed.

5. We were put in a good-sized room facing the street, which was incredibly noisy, especially with the team of about 100 construction workers across the road that start work at 6:00am.

6. Also, it feels like you are squating when eating your meal as the tables are so low down but there is help at hand as there's a little deli across the street that's well stocked and caters for all tastes.

We stayed over valentines this year, and after arriving in from Heathrow tired and weary we checked in pretty quickly (good), got up to the room to find our crib that we had booked already made up (even better) and a decently sized room facing the street at least meaning we had some natural light coming in.
