1. We never ate in the restaurant so i dont know what the food was like (never had time, to much to see)We did not find the lifts slow as stated in other reviews,we found the gym was very good down stairs.

2. realistically if u are visiting new york u are unlkely to spend lots of time in your room, the hotel is in a good location for times square and all of midtown, rooms are clean and comfortable, they are not over large but for the money are as big as needed and expectedthere s an adequate gym and breakfast area etcall in all a very good hotel for a tourists stay at new york.
