1. Although it has been removed (took one week after my stay,) again I did not appreciate the unpleasant surprise of seeing a $50 charge when I thought I had paid up the bill.

The plussess:-closest to convention center-new and modern-good lcd tv-very close to train station-good shower and bed-free internet/wi fi in room and free internet and printers in lobby (Hate hotels that charge)- nice deli coffee shop in lobby only charged $.54 for hot tea WOW- good Thai restaurants right on 9th just make a right turn very modern- can walk it to the theatre district and times square probably faster than subway - good internet rate of $149 from trazel zoo inc breakfast Cons- Room is tiny for myself and my wife with two pieces of luggage it was cramped- only two tiny elevators and is crowded in mornings- location - 36th street is fine during the day but would not want my wife to walk it late at night by herself- we had a room on 16th floor facing across another building that hosted parties so it was quite noisy one night.
