subway station and also close to numerous Duane-Reed drugstores - very convenient.

We enjoy walking Central Park, the holiday windows, 9/11 memorial, free concerts,
street
vendor food, local grocers, etc. If we don't walk everywhere, we use a pass for the subway or bus.

Fifth Avenue shopping is two blocks over and if you wish to go to SoHo, Greenwich, 911 memorial pools, Wall
Street
or any of the other many great sites on Manhattan the subway is literally right out the door and to your right for easy transportation.
