1. Being so close to all the neon lights and bills boards of Time Square was amazing although they certainly didn't keep us awake as our rooms were always quiet and peaceful - just a lot of fun to look at when we chose.

3. I booked the trip to New York for my wife`s 40th Birthday as a surprise and wanted a really good central location and the Renaissance seemed to fit the bill perfectly.

5. We did have one slight problem on checkout whereby we had mini bar charges added to our bills, yet never once even opened the fridge knowing that even moving a bottle will get it charged to you.

8. I was able to break my $20 bills for smaller bills at the front desk on 2 occasions with no difficulty.

10. They give a 20 dollars bill, put us in a cab, and they don't even care to know if the cab driver knows the wereabouts of the other hotel.
