1. We even had a black stretch limousine take us back to the airport at no extra cost - wow what an end to a perfect trip.

2. Got the 10% discount as advertised which made the cost acceptable but after hearing a few horror stories at the airport of other hotels maybe I'm being a bit harsh.

3. As many previous reviewers have chronicled, the staff, the breakfast, the afternoon wine and cheese all make The Library Hotel a special place and worth the bit extra it will cost over a big-box location.

7. Taxi to LaGuardia cost about $40 (start of weekday rush hour) and $25 (Sunday afternoon) - taxes, tolls, tips included.

It proved to be worth it, however, for several reasons: 1)I waited to stay here until I could split the cost with someone else 2)since we had a hearty lunch, the 4 to 6 happy hour served as dinner (which saves one a LOT in New York City, 3) the location is wonderful for walking to a number of sites that one is going to want to see.

9. This may be costly for some travellers but we feel we definitely benefited from this as it removed the hassle of trying to arrange this yourself - so if you can afford to treat yourself, go ahead and let them arrange for you.
