2. 10pm, a quick 40 minute taxi ride with amazing city views (keep your eyes peeled just before you go into the midtown tunnel!) we arrived to a very warm welcome from Bill and the other staff at the Library.

4. The food and service were very good- although the gratuity was included in the bill, which we think was because we weren't locals because it didn't happen to the New Yorkers sitting beside us.

6. Had lunch there, were told the specials the wife orders one of them the bill comes and it's 500+ yes thats 500 dollars for lunch.

7. So to sum up, the Library is a little more expensive than some of the other options, but it is centrally situated and with the nibbles and wine they serve it is possible to cut down on your food bills and splash a little on this lovely little boutique hotel.

8. On checking out these costs were added to our bill and I asked (on the off-chance) if one should not be given free of charge as we were our honeymoon.

9. She told us that we were right in that it doesn't actually say on the phone in the rooms that there is a charge for using them and she quickly removed the charges from our bill.

10. One slight grumble was the the mini-bar recorded everytime something was moved around in the fridge as a `sale` so we had to spend 15mins on check-out going through a rather long itemised bill explaining that we hadn`t consumed any of its contents - but this was a minor grumble.
