1. I got there late at night and was told that I am better off staying a converted suite.

5. We had previously stayed at Embassy Suites Convention Center and although I loved the free alcohol and breakfast there, I really didn't like the 10 minutes walk at 10pm on dark streets.

9. We booked a superior view room for about $300/night and ended up in a very large corner suite -- the extra room with two kids was very nice, as were the three balconies overlooking the city and the Washington Monument.
