Hotel was clean with lots of amenities (including fridge which helps with budget), lifeguard at the pool (hours were restrictive, however; be sure to inquire), shopping mall, large RiteAid store, food court and metro station downstairs in the same building, and right off the center of the National Mall with many landmarks & smithsonian museums a very short walk.

7. First off, this is geared more toward the type of people who, like us, travel to see the see the city & sights, like cheap food, don't need anything fancy, don't use hotel amenities (besides the pool) & aren't into expensive hotel restaurants, fancy bars or clubs.
