1. The showerhead wouldn't stay upright, the tub was in need of some serious help, but there was an attached balcony with the most amazing view of the ocean.

4. Everything was well-placed in our room, which had very high ceilings, and the bathroom had a tub and walk-in shower.

5. It faced the beach, over the palm trees and pool, but we could not see the sunset as the other bldgs blocked that, but the patio was large and the tub was like the other, smaller than those on the mainland, but not too small and of course, the shower, lots of electric plugs throughout, king-sized bed.

6. I had unpacked some, but there were hardly any plugs for even their coffee maker unless I made it on the floor or nightstand, hardly any counter space in the bathroom and NO tub.

7. But as my husband pointed out (and he is really not a picky person) a five-star hotel should not have such a visible amount of mold on the ceiling above the shower/tub.

8. A 'Category 6' hotel with rooms that only have a shower and no tub.

9. He quickly surmised that we did indeed need a bathroom with at least a tub so he made a call to the Front Desk and spoke to the other representative who was working the desk that afternoon and aided us in a room change.

10. At this point the thought crossed my mind: 'If we booked this hotel through the SPG site why on Earth did the first Front Desk guy place us on the 4th floor roof view room with no tub while an entire floor apparently focused on SPG customers existed all along?!' The room itself was nothing special - it did have a Garden view with a sliver of ocean visible through the banyan tree - but we still felt like we would have been bamboozled had it not been for needing a tub a few minutes earlier.
