9. (And if food is the main objective, great dishes are to be found just around the corner at Orchids, Nobu, La Mer, etc. - especially Orchids on a night when the Halekulani has live entertainment!) The Spa at first does not appear as inviting or well equipped as some front runners like the Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas, but the quality of the treatments are exceptional and more than make up for the lack of amenities.
