2. We opted to say with our original ocean front room, which had a nice balcony from which we could see Diamond Head as well as all the swimmers/surfers on Waikiki Beach directly below.

4. Garden view rooms are classic, quiet with no balcony, and part of the original hotel - we'd recommend these rooms.

7. It had a great little balcony to sit out on, I think we had number 6 which was the end one, which I did like as there was greenery surrounding it which meant you did have privacy from people sunbathing in the pool.

10. The only criticism I have is the noise the air conditioning makes at night, however after the first night , we slept with the balcony doors open and had the background noise of the ocean, which was nice.
