1. Yes, there is a free shuttle from the Lahaina to the Village, but it runs by their own admission sort of loosely.

We went to Whalers village quite a bit for dinner it was an easy 10 minute walk or if you were feeling lazy you could get the free shuttle/trolley ($1 tip) We especially loved the hula grill at Whalers for afternoon cocktails and we had dinner here 2 nights out of our 5, we ate at the barefoot bar and also in the restaurant, the have amazing fish tacos and mai Tais good relaxing entertainment.
