1. Check in was seamless and we were taken right to our beautifully decorated room with marble bath (separate shower and toilet which I love!) and gorgeous ocean view.

3. Bath products - I absolutely LOVE coconut and its hard to find coconut scented products that arent mixed with other fragrances but Royal Lahaina has it.

4. If you are looking for five star accomodations with granite countertops, luxury beds, modern baths, etc. then the cottages are NOT for you, but they are nice and clean with an island feel.

6. Maid service was good, never any problems getting fresh towels every morning and refills on the great smelling coconut bath products :) Parking is $10 a day if you self park.

7. If they would only do some painting or wallpaper in the rooms, switch the furntitre or at least clean it- very dirty sofa's in rooms and re-grout the shower/bath tiles to get rid of the dark stains- it would be a HUGE overall improvement.

8. The next day we checked out the cottage room and the bath was great but with a port-a-bed it would of been cramped so we decided to stay in the tower.

9. We got our key and went up to a gorgeous full-ocean-view suite (for which we'd paid the going rate for a partial ocean view regular room) with huge den, bath with huge walk-in shower, and a lovely bedroom with an extremely comfortable bed.

10. Only minor disadvantage was that there is only a shower (no tub), but otherwise the bath facilties were excellent.
