4. On that day, we (my sister and brother-in-law) sat at the bar for quite a few hours that afternoon (plenty of pina coladas in the actual pineapple cocktails and champagne were had), we all had a bite to eat for dinner and even got charged for an extra meal (about $12) that wasn't ours.

The resort is well catered for, despite its age, still has qualities difficult to find in other resorts, staff are extremely helpful and would do the extra mile to accommodate your needs, we liked the swimming pool bar, beach is well maintained, and the restaurant by the pool side serves some of the best Mai Tais in Maui.
