2. It is just a short walk from the hotel- the snorkeling is great there) It is cheap to rent snorkel gear at the Royal Lahaina too, it only cost us $30pp for the whole week.

3. Parking - cost of $10 was reasonable compared to nearby hotels but the spots were ridiculous in how narrow they were.

4. We think the receptionist was new because she didn't do anything but look up our name and hand us a key - didn't tell us where to park, or give us a permit, or a hotel map, or explain the parking cost, or really let us know any helpful information.

6. When arriving at the airport its best to use a shuttle to get to the hotel, we got a taxi as we didn't know any better and this cost alot of money around $90, executive shuttle cost $50 for myself and my husband so obviously we used them on the way back to the airport.

7. Since attending the luau costs $90USD, the ability to experience it all for free is wonderful (of course, it would be nice to be down there and enjoy the food and luau guest participation.
