1. and worst of all, just no personal attention or 'aloha' -The breakfast staff , and the bellhops/valets are the exception - they are the warmest most beautiful people I have met in Hawaii, and the breaksfast is they most outstanding & delicious display you'll ever want - its great -But we were sad to see the hotel slipping.

2. Upon checkout, I noted that I'd been charged for the valet for all six nights, and this was immediately and cheerfully corrected.

3. While I consider it a good value, I was very disturbed by the fact that in their advertising when I booked the hotel they said they had complementary valet and self-parking, but when I arrived they now charge $20 & $15 per day for the parking.

5. It's hard to choose just one favorite feature of this hotel: is it the open-air lobby with sweeping views of Hapuna Beach, sunset dinner on at the Coast Grille, convenient valet service (tips encouraged), easy access to a beautiful beach with wonderful snorkeling.
