1. No only they didn't do anything, but one of the assistant managers told us that if we are unhappy, we are welcome to check out.

6. Beach towels are available to check out at the poolside which makes it kind of inconvenient to walk all the way to the pool first to get towels on your way to the beach.

9. BEACH/POOL: During our stay, we spent just a day and a half at the beach/pool (we wanted to check out some of the sights on the island).

10. Lastly, if you're a tennis player, you have got to check out the tennis courts at the Mauna Kea Resort, they are nice with a view of the ocean, and some are ocean front.
