1. We find this hotel to have a great balance of luxury and amenities, including probably the best beach on the island.

2. They're 600 sf or better, the bathrooms are cleverly designed with twin sinks and other amenities, each room has a spacious lanai (perhaps THE most important feature in Hawaii.

3. Attention to details is flawless: So many amenities provided (automatic lighting in the closets, roomwide lighting controlled from a nightstand, choice of solid or secure vented entry door (the vented version allows a fantastic breeze from the lanai to drift through all night).

6. FACILITIES & AMENITIES: There is a nicely appointed fitness centre which is located away from the hotel, off the golf course but it's only a short walk from the main entrance.

9. The hotel amenities we used were fine - got a good massage in a cabana by the beach, the food at breakfast and at the Coast Grille was good (though spendy), and the parking area wasn't too far from the lobby and we usually did find a shady spot.
