7. we asked to be moved to a closer room and we were graciously moved, to the lava side M1 maori 1 which had a lovely view and was mere footsteps from everything, not as secluded but we enjoyed getting to experience both sides of the resort.

8. we ate there once and while it was good, the view, food, and service was better at Hale Moana, no view at the afore-mentioned.

9. Snorkeling at Kona Village is good even if the water is a bit rough and swimming out a way offered a great view of sea turtles at the "cleaning station".

10. Yes they do play close to the dining area at times (which is outside in always perfect weather with a view of the whole bay), but they are happy children enjoying themselves.
