1. we got the best deal by going to the kvr website and booking through them with air inclusive, it costed us like 1850.00 each for 5 nights with airfare, all meals, luau (225.

2. Activities - most of the fun things cost a heavy surcharge $130 just to try a paddle board out outrigger canoe - excursions around $125-$150 a person (plus that tip on the drinks I bet) .

3. I'm not cheap but when you come to an all inclusive you are doing so with the hope of not worrying about costs, etc. during the trip because you've taken care of it in advance.

4. although the resort is all-inclusive soft drinks cost $8, they ask you to add gratutity to the dinning bills, they charge you for bringing your bags to your rooms.

7. One minor quibble: though we knew alcohol was not part of our package for room and food, we did think we would be getting a mimosa included in our Sunday brunch as the waiter offered it and didn't mention that it cost extra.

9. they totally take care of your kids too for dinner and beyond (all included in the cost) if you want to have a quiet dinner with your spouse or just have adult only time.
