Compared to other hotels in the Waikiki area, the price was comparable to most and a good value compared to the upper tier hotels (although much over priced compared to
rate
s available in mainland USA for the same level of room and service).
"Clean, refreshingly comfortable, quiet, and located near the tourist district of Waikiki without being surrounded by it. "

The
rate
I paid for a corner room on a high floor at the Lotus was roughly 35% less than the Starwood Preferred Guest discounted
rate
that I paid for a comparable room at the W in the fall of 2008.
