1. You can't go wrong with staying at this hotel.
"Extremely Impressed and Very Happy! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/23/2012 Vote
2. --Price seemed reasonable for location, we booked an oceanview room thru hotel website, and were pleased to be on the top floor, lower floors would not afford as good a view I think--Good sized balcony--Very comfortable beds (but note that the 2-bed rooms have 2 full, not queen, beds.
"Very nice stay at the Aqua Lotus " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/21/2012 Vote
3. --Staff was super helpful and friendly--Room was very clean and nicely appointed--We liked that the hotel is small and on the quiet end of Waikiki: this is NOT a mega-resort so don't expect the onsite spas, restaurants, fitness facilities etc. No pool or restaurant on-site--Nice touches include the free morning coffee, evening wine, beach chair check-out, and turndown service--Not directly oceanfront, but only one building in from the beach, so only a few hundred feet from the water.

"cute boutique hotel but not as nice as advertised " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/20/2012 Vote
5. Away from the glitz and crowds of Waikiki proper (but close enough if you want a taste of that), the hotel has a peaceful, understated feeling and a very professional staff that genuinely cares about its guests.
"Aqua Lotus Feels Like Old Hawaii " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/16/2012 Vote
6. You can walk in about a minute to the beach at the Canoe Club and in about two minutes to the beach at Kaimana beach (the beach in front of the New Otani Hotel).

8. ) The onsite restaurant is not open yet (June 2012) but the Hau Tree is within 50 yards at the New Otani hotel - just make reservations in advance on Open Table as they honor those before honoring walk-ins and they are always packed.

9. Great hotel.
"Good but away from Waikiki " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/29/2012 Vote
10. Great hotel for those who are looking to be near Waikiki but not in the center of it.
