2. Views from any room are magnificent, and calling my room a 'partial' ocean view is a huge undersell - sitting on the balcony on the 11th floor provided a fantastic vista of both the International Marketplace and the ocean.

3. All in all, the HI Waikiki Beachcomber was a standard hotel but what put it over the edge for me was that it had all new decor and furniture, it overlooked the beautiful ocean and it had a balcony.
