1. All in all, the HI Waikiki Beachcomber was a standard hotel but what put it over the edge for me was that it had all new decor and furniture, it overlooked the beautiful ocean and it had a balcony.

8. It is very modern by Hawaiian standards, with flat screen TVs, white duvet bed covers (with lovely pillows) & retro Hawaiian frames pictures on the walls to give the decor an Island edge.
