1. Food: We went for groceries at Walmart or Foodland near Ala Moana mall (15 minute walk if you dont mind a stroll) for breakfasts and lunch.

2. The Paradise Pool is right beside Lagoon Tower and it is hands down the kids favourite pool, so if you are travelling with kids I would recommend this location, as we could lean over the balcony and tell each other when lunch was ready.

3. The kitchen in the room helped to keep costs of meals down, and we ate breakfast and lunch on the balcony many times.

5. Seriously, we've been up to the Turtle Bay (which was a Hilton property and should never have been sold in my opinion, but I guess Hilton wanted to focus on Waikiki and the Big Island), and one of our fondest memories is spending a VERY relaxing 6 hours by the pool simply watching the kids play in the pool and slide on the waterslide and then come out, say their hungry and order some lunch to eat by the pool.
"Busy, fun, sun and surf " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/4/2009 Vote

7. Since we had a full kitchen we saved tons by having breakfast on our own balcony and picnic lunches by the lagoon or beach, and could spend more on dinners.

8. A drive around the island, over to the north shore, have lunch at one of the numerous shrimp trucks, stop at Hanauma Bay, Waimea, Haleiwa and numerous other places.
