1. Between Costco and multiple ABC runs, we had plenty of food in our kitchen.

3. The Ala Moana is 15 minutes away on foot, or you can take the pink trolley right outside the Tapa Tower for $2each way, it has many stores and the best food court I have ever seen.

6. There are many wonderful beaches on the Island that are less travelled & many local places to eat good inexpensive food (The Makai FoodCourt in Ala Moana Mall for one).

8. We didn't eat much on the property, mostly buying food at the ABC stores (we hit about five of the seemingly hundreds in Honolulu), and at the excellent Accents convenience mart downstairs in the Grand Waikikian.
