4. They charge for parking but weekends off street parking is free and we managed to get a parking spot near the hotel the whole weekend and din't have to park in a garage.

5. good location, just a 5 minute walk from metro, 3 short blocks to the white house, starbucks across the street to take care of that habit too.

6. At one point, it seemed like a boy-racer with no exhaust on his economy car seemed to be just tearing up and down the street outside at 2amI would recommend that a business traveler bring some sleep medication along, or maybe some ear plugs.

8. They have a breakfast buffet that is $22 / person, which we felt was a little steep, so we walked 0.5 miles to a cafe called 'City Cafe' (on the corner of 17th and L Street), and it was VERY reasonable and very good.
