1. -The front desk was helpful and courteous; Check-in was quick and easy-Location is great - a block from the GWU metro; although it is a good 15 minute walk to Georgetown and the White House, it is only 2-3 streets and doesn't feel like that long-Starbuck's and tea always free and available in the lobby is a nice touch-Beds are comfortableWhy You May Consider Somewhere Else:-For a room of that size, the bathroom is very small.

3. At check-in the desk staff was very helpful, they had several restaurant recommendations and menus, including the Notti Bianche across the street which was pretty good.

4. The cookies that they give you at check-out should honestly read, 'I stayed at the Doubletree Suites DC and all I got was one supposed fresh baked cookie' Should have stayed across the street at GWU Inn.

5. On Wednesday afternoons/evenings there's a farmer's market a block up New Hampshire (on I ('Eye') Street by the entrance to GWU) and next to the hospital.

7. The Foggy Bottom metro is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and there are many convenient stores located right across the street in the Watergate hotel.
