1. After a short stroll to the White House in the evening we came back by way of a spectacular Whole Foods nearby and brought dinner back to our suite.

3. There is also several (almost fast food type ) restaurants ( we ate at the mediterranean restaurant - Rito (I think) and it was quite good) and a whole Foods store and cafe two blocks away.

5. The Metro stop is a close walk (GWU/Foggy Bottom), there are several groceries nearby (Safeway in the Watergate, we preferred Trader Joe`s but it`s a few blocks further), and decent food options (TGIFriday`s, Au Bon Pain, food court at GWU, Johnny Rockets).
