1. The Kennedy Center was for us the real find: it has free public concerts every evening at 6-7pm with a truly wide range of talent from all over the world and it is also within walking distance of the hotel (or you can take the free shuttle from the George Washington University every evening).

2. The shuttle service said that they'd be at least an hour before returning, so Stacy quickly volunteered to personally drive us to the DoubleTree where we were supposed to meet our relatives.

3. The Kennedy Center shuttle stops at the Metro, making it very easy to see a show.

4. Aside from being close to his place, it wasn't exceptionally convenient to local attractions or restaurants, and they did NOT offer a shuttle for the local area.
