I`m a Hilton Honors Gold VIP member and it is not unusual for a hotel to provide complimentary amenities (like room upgrade and bottled water and breakfast and free internet) that are above the required complimentary amenities, however, this hotel only provided the basic upgrade of either a free breakfast (Continental delivered to the room) or free internet.

4. One thing I think offended me most was that the night manager, 'Q', felt she needed to 'sell' me on all the amenities of the hotel - which I already knew, it was why I CHOSE to make the reservation there months earlier.
