1. After a short stroll to the White House in the evening we came back by way of a spectacular Whole Foods nearby and brought dinner back to our suite.

2. We managed to cook most of our simple dinners (like boxed mac `n cheese, spaghetti, grilled cheese and tomato soup) and all of our breakfasts, but would have liked to have had an oven and better, more plentiful pots/pans.

3. It was so late by the time we got to the Silver Springs hotel that we did not feel safe walking to try to locate a restaurant for dinner in an area we were unfamiliar with (turns out we would have had to walk about 5 blocks to a restaurant) that we ate in the hotel restaurant.
