1. At check-out time, the elevator seemed to stop at almost every floor - which I was concerned about in advance, but not enough to horse my bags down 8 floors worth of stairs - and the very small lobby was crowded and noisy.

2. The cookies that they give you at check-out should honestly read, 'I stayed at the Doubletree Suites DC and all I got was one supposed fresh baked cookie' Should have stayed across the street at GWU Inn.

4. The front desk staff was very responsive to requests for extra towels although it suffered from the usual lack of staffing for a noontime check-out with a lengthy queue.
