1. I tried getting to the roof deck on the nice days to see the view - but the elevator button to the roof was either not working or locked.

3. Rooms were big and ok , but the A/C was not very good it made the room very hot or very cold , bathroom was clean and good, bed comfy and the view is great you see many embassies from the window and gives you a diplomatic feeling.
"Good is all to say ... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/31/2011 Vote
4. Also, there is a rooftop deck where I was hoping for stunning nighttime views, but I guess we waited too long, because the doors were locked.

6. If you stay on the quiet side of the building (not Massachusetts Ave) and have a view of the back street, it's very pleasant and has nice views.

8. The good stuff- great location (within seconds to the hip Dupont Circle area and red line metro station- has resturants, retail and bars all very close) great room (very clean and spacious and great view of Massachusetts Ave) great hotel (had an business center with a internet connected computer and printer for use) The bad stuff- do not order room service (40 bucks for a salad and a couple of chicken tenders- a breakfast buffet for two will cost over 50- parking is 35 dollars a night and there is nowhere else to park fyi) All stuff to keep in mind.
"Great Hotel Great Location Beware of Hidden Fees " Read full review on Travelocity   2/1/2009 Vote
9. Our first room was clean and comfortable but there was quite a bit of noise from air conditioning units outside so we asked to move and it was no trouble at all and we were shown several other rooms before we chose the one we were happy with at the back of the hotel overlooking a terrace and a view of Washington.
"Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/29/2011 Vote
10. I asked at check-in about being credited for the difference in the room upgrade I paid for (city view) v.
"Spare yourself the aggravation and stay somewhere else " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/10/2010 Vote
