1. We decided to stay at the Mark Spencer because of its great location in downtown Portland, but I was quite disappointed that we weren't informed that they would be doing construction on the entrance, and we were given a room right next to all of the noise.

3. I was only disappointed that I didn't have a view from my window (it looked into the building next door) and, unfortunately, the roof garden was under construction and I couldn't go up to enjoy the summer mornings.

6. Due to construction, the entrance is difficult to navigate if you have heavy bags- no ramp, but i'm sure that the entrance will be accessible at some point.
