I'd go back in a heartbeat -- we stayed a couple of days post-conference, checked out other
neighborhood
s & Portland's fabulous gardens, went off to tour vineyards for a day, & had a great time.

The location is perfect, 1 min to Powell`s, 5 min walk to most restaurants in the Pearl District, 20 min or so to NW 21st which was a cool

, close to buses.

is Everyday Music--a gigantic used CD store, and McMenamin's Crystal Ballroom and Ringler's Pub.

Next time, we'll stay on the other side of the river - probably at the Jupiter Hotel, since we ended up spending most of our time in other parts of town anyway (plus it has the added benefit of being close to some great brew pubs and a
neighborhood
VooDoo doughnuts).
