The location was perfect--right at the edge of downtown, convenient to the streetcar and light rail, the freeway, and the top in town local sights including downtown and Portland's wonderful food carts for lunch, Chinatown, the Pearl District, Powell's bookstore, a Whole Foods around the corner, Kenny and Zuke's deli across the street, and the absolutely marvelous Jakes Seafood a block away for a not to be forgotten dinner.

3. Arrived early, Parked in MS garage enjoyed the afternoon visiting Powells book store and lunch at Whole Foods Market, ( all within a block or 2).

5. Also, we always try to book a hotel that has at least a fridge and coffeemaker so we can make our own oatmeal in the morning, and store our lunch/dinner leftovers during the rest of the day.
