1. Location was fantastic - we had read so much about bad traffic in LA that we thought this might be a little out of the way but we were 10 minutes by car from Warner Bros studios (similar from Universal and they run a free hotel shuttle all day to and from there), and 10 minutes by car into the centre of Hollywood for a lot of the main sites (Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood & Highland shops).

3. We wanted to take the free shuttle to Universal Studios and called at the last minute, and they actually drove us up as a special, unscheduled trip.

4. Universal Studios is about 5 mins drive away and cost $15 to park, the hotel runs a free shuttle bus but the last bus back is about 9 which is a bit early for us.

5. Also if you want to go to universal studios the hotel has a free bus that takes you there at half an hour intervals,also will pick you up as well.
